NAV was cited as the most highly recommended fund administrator in a March 2021 survey of emerging managers conducted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Investment Management Company (MITIMCo) Emerging Managers Group. The purpose of the survey was to help emerging managers identify service providers that work well with newer, smaller funds.

The HFM European Services Awards “reward hedge fund service providers who demonstrate exceptional client service, innovation, and strong and sustainable business growth.” With a rigorous judging process and awards in 44 categories, the HFM European Services Awards aim to “ensure current and future clients that winners are leading the way in a competitive sector.”

NAV was also named Best Administrator at the HFM U.S. Quant Services Awards last month.

NAV Fund Administration Group, a leading provider of administrative services to alternative asset managers, was announced as Best Fund Administrator at the HFM U.S. Quant Services Awards, held virtually on February 25.

The HFM US Quant Services Awards ”celebrate those service providers who have gone above and beyond over the past year to provide excellent client service and innovation.” With the premise that the disruption and uncertainty caused by Coronavirus encouraged funds to look to their service providers and partners to support them through the challenges, the awards recognize that “demonstrating exceptional client service and innovation is more important than ever before.”

NAV was also named Best Administrator at the HFM European Quant Services Awards in October 2020.

“It was certainly a challenging year, but our team did an excellent job adjusting our IT and communications infrastructures to keep our operations flowing smoothly,” said NAV COO Ambuj Garg. “We focused on maintaining optimal productivity, availability, and responsiveness to our clients and to each other. NAV was chosen for the award by an independent judging panel selected for their industry experience and expertise. The award program is designed to “recognize and reward excellence and outstanding contributions made by business, operations & technology leaders at asset management and service provider firms over the past year.”

According to Fund Intelligence, the new combined awards program – featuring 32 categories -- was created to reflect “fund groups thinking more holistically about their front to back solutions, and service partners doing the same” and to feature “one central place to shine a light on vendors who are truly delivering for their asset management clients in terms of service, technology and innovation across the fund complex.”

HFM European Quant Services Awards: Best Administrator Presented virtually at the HFM European Quant Summit 2020 in mid-October, this award recognizes fund service providers that have “separated themselves from their competitors.” The HFM European Quant Services Awards acknowledged the disruption and uncertainty 2020 presented and stated “the need for service providers to demonstrate exceptional client service and innovation was more important than ever before.”
NAV was named Best Administrator by a judging panel of leading executives of CTA managed futures and quant hedge funds from among a category shortlist of six other competing firms, including BNY Mellon, Northern Trust, Citco International Support Services, and SS&C Technologies.
Hedgeweek: Best Administrator – Middle Office Services Representing “the best of the best in the U.S. hedge fund industry,” winners of the Hedgeweek U.S. Awards 2020 were selected in conjunction with Bloomberg. NAV was announced as the winner of the Best Administrator – Middle Office Services category via a virtual awards networking ceremony on October 29.
Bloomberg provided performance data on which nominations and nominee shortlists were based, which were then voted on by the industry. Per Hedgeweek, the unique two-tier award structure means that “winning a Hedgeweek award constitutes a vote of recognition from your peers and a significant mark of achievement, particularly so in this extraordinary year.”
